Whenever I type to search anything in firefox it returns the result in a website called "My Search". I want to make it back to google. Ive seen that the search bar is pointing to google as default search

Ive taken the obvious steps.. i found out that it got installed as an add-on when i was trying to download winzip using cnet.com and i've already uninstalled it now.. but still somehow firefox hasnt completely removed.. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox but somehow it didnt work

Firefox will do "searches" from three sections of the user interface.

  • Search Bar
  • Location Bar - where you type web addresses
  • the search container on the default homepage - about:home
