adobe flash 11.01.152 is crashing and firefox will not close properly

when I go to a site such as Castle Empire Adobe Flash crashes and hangs up fire fox then eventually will report the crash. When I close firefox then try to open it again I get an error message of firefox still running. This does not show in task manager as an Application running but does as a process. I have to stop the firefox.exe*32 before I can open firefox again. I'm running Windows 7 and have all the latest updates.
