My apt. provides free Internet access, but I keep getting a TimeWarner prompt (http://10.50.0.2/index.html) when I try access certain URL's like The NY Times home page. The prompt is unpredictable, too. TW says I need to change my tabs but the Firefox tabs (under preferences for Mac Lion) don't show where I can reset something.

I have the exact same problem! Except mine does it with the Google homepage and some other school related sites.

After 7 months of no problems at my apartment with FREE internet access, suddenly today, this stuff comes up. I don't know what to do...

I'm on campus right now, and it's still doing it! I'm at a loss right now. Is this some sort of malware? I tried calling TW, but I just got the run-around...

If it helps, it says it's powered by Korcett. I just need this to stop! I have homework and labs I need to do.

Has anyone found a solution?
