firefox not responding and crashes when my netbook goes into sleep mode why is that

when i shut the lid on my net book and come back nand open it , put password in and when i click the firefox icon to go back to where i was at it says firefox is not rewsponding or firefox has crashed , why is that

Try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If it works properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
