It's sometimes difficult enough keeping up with changing internet but going to rely on home button and it's not there, nor is it in the customize toolbar area. So, in this-this is yet another procedure to hunt and read.

You should find the Home button in the Customize palette.

In Firefox 87+ the Library and the Home button aren't present by default on the Navigation Toolbar and you need to drag them out of the Customize palette to the toolbar.

If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette, click Restore Defaults in the Customize palette window to restore the default toolbar set.

When you change the homepage to a custom URL in settings, the Home button should automatically appear in the toolbar next to the navigation controls unless you previously removed it.
