Yesterday, David suggested that I find out 1) what are my incoming server settings, 2) my STMP, and 3) to report any error messages. When I contacted the company from which I have broadband, their reply to 1) and 2) was that it was Mozilla Thunderbird that could reply as they did not have that informaion), and in regards to error messages, i have received none, except where, "Send now" appeared before, there is a chubby pen leaning to the right, followed by the word "write, (subject), and "Thunderbird." I have not been able to send an email for almost a week. What is the matter?

Hi there! It seems like you're experiencing issues with sending emails using Mozilla Thunderbird on Windows 10. As a Firefox support volunteer, I'd be happy to assist you with this.

Based on your description, it would be helpful to gather some additional information to troubleshoot the problem:

Incoming server settings: To find your incoming server settings in Thunderbird, you can navigate to Tools > Account Settings, select the email account in question, and then look for the Server Settings section. This should provide information about the server name, port number, and encryption settings.

SMTP (Outgoing server) settings: Similarly, you can find the SMTP settings for your email account in Thunderbird by going to Tools > Account Settings, selecting the email account, and navigating to the Outgoing Server (SMTP) section. Verify that the server name, port number, and authentication settings are correctly configured.

Error messages: Check if there are any error messages displayed in Thunderbird when you attempt to send an email. These messages can provide valuable insights into the issue.

Please gather the above information and share it in a reply so that I can better understand your situation and provide you with further assistance.
