Hello, After my computer was reset my favourite theme disappeared, it can't even be located in the Firefox add-ons area. It's called Foto - Soft and the author is Mozilla. Is there a way to locate it please? Thank you Denise

Hi Denise, I think that was one of the "seasonal" Colorways themes that "expired" last week. But... there is a "hack" to suspend its expiration. This is very unofficial, but works for me:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

More info on about:config: Configuration Editor for Firefox. The moderators would like us to remind you that changes made through this back door aren't fully supported and aren't guaranteed to continue working in the future.

(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste browser.theme.retainedExpiredThemes and pause while the list is filtered

Firefox should show a bar with three choices -- Boolean Number String -- and a + buttton

(3) Click String and then click the + button to create a new preference.

Firefox should open a blank area to enter text.

(4) Paste the following to un-expire the theme:

["foto-soft-colorway@mozilla.org"]

(The square brackets are required, so don't skip those.)

(5) Click the blue check mark button or press Enter to save the new value.

(6) You can check the Add-ons page, Themes list now, but I think you need to do a regular exit/quit of Firefox and start it up again before that theme is un-expired and returns to the list.

Success?
