2 FireFox browser's Open up at start up
I have been using Fire Fox for years. After the last New upgrade every time I startup the browser, Two browsers open up instead of one. I have no idea how to fix this. The second browser opens on the taskbar nut only one browser opens up on my full screen.. I hope this makes sense..

What are the two windows opening to? The same link? Different pages?

You can check the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties) to make sure nothing is appended after the path to the Firefox program.
I have always started the browser from my task bar. I set it to start blank and always have. I seen two open browser windows on the task bar that are blank but one has white background in the content area and the other one has a black background. The black one is the one that just started opening up with the blank one. I have the newest Norton protection so don't think its been hacked. The problem started after I let it do an auto update for the browser. This is the first time I have has any problem with firefox on more than 10 yrs.. When I came to this site the taskbar image says problem loading page while the other opens just fine. I tried taking a screen shot but it doesn't capture the taskbar

Sorry but I don't have my browser link on my desktop, only on my task bar
