hello doug,

yes, you can do a downgrade/rollback.

but before you do so, you need to back up the password, bookmark and history files. else there is a big chance you will lose all of this data.

I dont know what the proper procedure is to roll back and ensuring that personal data is not lost in the process.

In my firm opinion, it is best to install the older version in its folder all to its own, so you will then have 2 FF's and the oppotunity to manually transfer data from one and into the other.

However, the microsoft browser has been aggregating this data from the firefox folders.

So 1) close FF then open edge and see if it has copied over your passwords and 2) have edge to import your bookmarks and history from firefox. while i am not promoting that you use edge for browsing, i am promoting it as a back up mechanism for FireFox. It's ironic, i know.  :-)
