Thunderbird sent email being saved to cloud for some reason
For some reason after I send an email it is then sent again to an unknown cloud location before simply saving to my computer. Why? How do I turn this off?

Is it a gmail or outlook.com account? Those services, and maybe others, automatically copy sent messages to the Sent folder on the mail server.
Neither SFHOWES. a local ISP. I am looking for how to turn off the action it is taking to copy both drafts and sent emails to a site other than my computer. I am in a low speed area. This is causing a significant slow down. Thank you for your question.
Check the targets for sent and draft messages in the Copies & Folders section of Account Settings. Setting them to Local Folders will store them on the local computer, and if they still get sent to the cloud, it is not done by TB.
SF Howes, your parents raised you well and your schooling has served you well. Appreciation and lauds for your assistance.
