Webpage links not working

more options

Hi, so initially I wasn't worried about this since I thought it was maybe just one webpage that was faulty - not Firefox itself - but I've now had this issue on several pages. The issue is that the webpage links will not work, for example, on https://www.vans.com/ trying to use the side filter when scrolling through products does not work, you can click on them (say if you wanted to filter for slip on shoes) but the link acts like text. I've also noticed this on https://optcorp.com/ (a telescope website) where if you tried to click on a link from one of the tabs (say Telescopes -> Professional Telescopes) it doesn't do anything. Oddly enough it does show the full link in the bottom left corner so right clicking to open in a new tab works but just clicking it doesn't.

I've cleared my cache and had Firefox refresh and the issue is still there, I'm not sure what could cause the issue.

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). Please try that using the link below: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-sa...] See if you can avoid this using the Safe mode and get some idea on what can possibly be causing the issue.

On the Opt site, the link is rewired to open only after your action is recorded by Google Analytics. So they can have a record of your movement around their site. To serve customers better, of course.

Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection feature generally prevents Google Analytics from running, so you could make an exception for the site using the purple shield at the left end of the address bar, or continue to use the workaround of opening the link in a new tab (or drag and drop the link into the address bar to open in the same tab).

(I can't get into the other site at the moment.)
