Everytime I go to print from GoogleSheets it will not allow me to print. Instead of a 'where to print' box I get a 'Download To' box. Please help

This is beyond frustrating!! I cannot print from Firefox, plain and simple. I get asked to make whatever it is I'm trying to print into a PDF or download it.

I see what you mean. If I use the Sheets File > Print feature -- which also comes up for Ctrl+p -- then it goes to "Google Cloud Print" which doesn't send anything to the local printer.

When I call up Firefox's Print Preview feature using either--

  • "3-bar" menu button > Print
  • (Firefox menu bar) File > Print Preview
    • By default, the menu bar is hidden. You can activate it temporarily by tapping the Alt key or the F10 key.

-- I can see that printing locally will include the Sheets interface as well as the actual sheet itself. It's a little better if I use the Sheets View > Full screen option first; I still get the row and column numbers, but not the other parts of the Sheets UI.

(Second screenshot attached shows the Sheets menu items I was referring to.)
