When I try to print from Firefox I get a box that asks me if I want to open with or save. I have checked and all my printing settings are correct and I have the latest version of Firefox. I have a Microsoft windows 7 computer.

Was those options listed on the Fx print options?

When I click File > Print, the Pop-up says my printer is 'Ready'. It's not. My printer is OFF and the USB cable is not plugged-in. Why does the FF pop-up say my printer is ready when it's not?

Last week, I tried to print something (from Notepad) and Windows-7 said it was 'Ready', but 'Offline'. I couldn't print anything or find how to get the printer 'Online'.

I finally found the USB port it was on. There was one other USB port listed. I switched to it and that fixed it. I thought just plugging in the printer's USB cable into any port would would work (which it did in the past), but it didn't this last time for whatever the reason.
