I upgraded to the new version of FF. However when it loads up in google the buttons are not visible and if i do a search i get part of a search and then black all the way down the page. See picture. https://imgur.com/a/h3x5b

Here is a picture of Google with the buttons invisible. https://imgur.com/a/vwzfi Bing.com seems to be unaffected.

Chosen solution

It was the clear type which wasn't on. I hope there is a fix for it soon as i don't like using clear type as it isn't very clear. Thanks for your help. Problem solved.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to make the change effective.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

Acceleration didn't help. All drivers are updated.

There is an issue reported that affects users who have turned off ClearType font rendering within the Windows settings. A workaround until this is fixed is either to turn ClearType back on or disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Is the Clear type a issue that MS needs to fix or is it Mozilla?
