when I try to login CSC digi mail getting HTTP Errror 503

Dear Sir/Madam, 

        I have registered in CSC as VLE on 5 sept 2017. CSC is a government portal.They guided me to access with finger print device .as per procedure finger print device driver installed and java latest version installed . Now when I enter the login details screen shows only HTTP Error 503 . When I contacted  customer care they told me that mozilla 50 version supports you. I have tried so many times. But I didn't get. Kindly guide me what should I do ?

Try clearing the cookies for the site and all related to the site, clear your cache and try again after rebooting. Some times just restarting Firefox works also, sometimes.

Not following you as you started your description of the issue 1 space away from the edge. If you could edit that that would be great. Thanks.

Are you saying you need Java plugin enabled ? Firefox 57 does not support that.

Try the above and let us know.

Do you use a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website?

If you use a bookmark then navigate to the web page starting with the main page or the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Now I am facing bio metric device not found. But when i checked in device manager it shown installed properly.please guide me what should i do ?

If the Java plugin is used to access this device then you need to use Firefox 52.5.2 ESR.

Firefox 52 and later releases only support the Shockwave Flash plugin and disable all other plugins. If you need to use other plugins then you can use the Firefox 52 ESR release. Otherwise you can stay with the current Firefox release version.

Why-do-Java-Silverlight-Adobe-Acrobat-and-other-plugins-no longer work.

You can install a portable Firefox ESR version to access websites that do not work with the current Firefox release. The portable version comes with its own profile folder and doesn't interfere with currently installed Firefox versions.
