I still don't have the little fox on my start page- thanks anyway-
Why not make your own home page then and use a local file you make about 4 lines of code and stick one of these in it https://www.google.ca/search?q=firefox+pics&client=firefox-b&dcr=0&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiRjdSs5-fXAhXmwFQKHSqpB_0Q_AUICygC&biw=1920&bih=919
Web Editor BlueGriffon would take 5mins in a notepad then save as html
What is your home page at the moment? If you type or paste about:home in the address bar and press Enter, is that the same?
If your home page is displaying the "Activity Stream" design from the new tab page and you want to roll it back, here's how:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste newt and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the
browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.aboutHome.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false
thank you so much for trying to figure it out-but those didn't work either. darn it. that page is so 'blah'-blank except for the web search box. I liked the little fox. and sometimes they little bits of random info--- why would they just make it disappear? it's their logo thing-- anyway-thanks again for your help.
