How do I get rid of the message "A web page is slowing down your browser, what do you want to do, wait or stop it"?
Sometimes I get the above message on one of the pages I use frequently, which is usually no big deal I just reload the page and it fixes the problem. But lately when it happens when I get it,it continually spams all the pages I have open with this message, which is annoying,as it takes a full system reset to stop it from doing this. How can I stop it from doing this? It is just a recent problem, and as far as I know it happens regardless of whether my Malware and Virus protection programs (Malwarebytes,Premium Version and AVG) are active or disabled.

”Webpage is slowing down your browser” This is the new way the browser tells you there is a problem with the script program(s). https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script?cache=no
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad / pop-up blocker.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
