_I live in Europe, NOT in USA. I prefer en-GB. Some FF pages persevere in displaying US grammar, US spelling, and even US currency. _Surprisingly, Page Info/Language showed en-US. Using "about:config" to change AGAIN to en-GB, I discovered that "general.useragent.locale" was already set to en-GB. Clicked "Quit FF". _After re-start, Page Info/Language showed simply en. Neither en-GB nor en-US. _Much work has obviously been invested in having an English in GB, rather than US -- this latter is unacceptable to my PC -- the relatively few, but annoying, en-US pages can surely also be in en-GB. _Both my PC and myself would be happy once this has been realised. Thank you, Volunteers Anonymous.

Hi

I am a "Brit" that also likes my copy of Firefox to read the web in En-GB and I am also a Ubuntu user (using 16.10).

I recommend you have a read of this article that will help change the interface of Firefox and also this article about changing the language that Firefox reads pages in.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
