Your bookmarks definitely should not get deleted at Windows startup!
Or is the problem that when you start Firefox, it lacks any evidence that you used it before? I suppose it depends on how much you customize your browsers.
Assuming your bookmarks are okay at this moment, could you export them for safekeeping? This creates an HTML file (web page) that you could import later if needed. These articles describe those two steps:
- Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file to back up or transfer bookmarks
- Import Bookmarks from an HTML file
Regarding printing articles, what happens when you try to print? You can call up the print feature in two different ways:
- the "3-bar" menu button > Print -- this launches Print Preview to see how it will lay out
- on the menu bar (tap Alt to show it if it's not visible), File menu, you can call up Print Preview or go straight to the print dialog

What page are you trying to print? (Or view, if you meant on the screen?)
The page that talks about saving bookmarks. Every time I turn off my computer off and turn it back on, the bookmarks are gone. I then have to re-enter them. Jim
