How do I know a full page notice to start a download for foxfire is legit and not a hacker?

I have been seeing an entire orange screen which tells me it is important I do a download right away. It kept popping up so I clicked download and then noticed the URL looked suspicious. I can't remember it entirely but I remember it had japan at the end of it. Has anybody else received this? Does anyone know if this is legit or is it a hack? By the way, why doesn't foxfire have a way to just ask them a question? This is stupid customer service. This is about as dumb as some of the stupid questions 911 asks when someone calls them with an urgent life saving need.

Almost certainly Malware,

possibly very dangerous.

Was this on an orange splash screen with a genuine looking Firefox related logo ?

Do not download open or run such an update. Mozilla Firefox does not use such a method of updates

Anyone who has run this ask for further information, you will need to check for malware including the Kovter trojan
