I keep getting those Apple Flashes that ask me if I want to install Quicktime 7.7.9 and the Apple Software Update. I have no idea what these are so I just "X" them out. Should I be installing them. Also, lately I am constantly getting the little round circle on my screen that says "WINDOWS NOT RESPONDING." I have to manually shut off my computer and start all over again until it happens again.....and again.

How do I remove the Quick Time plug in. Also, do you kno why I keep getting "Firefox Not Responding".

The only way to remove a plugin is to remove its program. Or, you can disable it from the add-ons manager.

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

I have Windows Vista. How do I delete it? Also, what about all the "Firefox Not Responding." Is that connected to the Plug In?

more options

Not responding means the computers CPU is being overworked.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
