I just updated Firefox to version 43.0..., I went to Wikipedia and guess what?! None of the images on their webpages a able to be seen using the Firefox browser! Now THAT is a real bummer! I never encountered a problem like this before and I've used Firefox for over 10 years. Hmmmmmm, now what do you think could be the problem? Included screenshot of Firefox view AND Chrome view of same webpage

Also, ongoing issues with playing Flash content on Firefox browser. Here's a link to a blog that has Lennon's #9 Dream embedded as Flash content on the web page. Can't view or watch the video using Firefox. Internet explorer works fine. LINK IS; http://cyclopswarrior.blogspot.com/2013/02/9-dream.html I've included screen shot too....,

Any help is really appreciated as I use Firefox as my primary browser and I refer to Wikipedia a whole lot!

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains. You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"

Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images

  • Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
  • If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.

Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.

There are extensions like Adblock Plus (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and Anti-Virus software that can block images and other content.
