I started getting a message to allow Firefox updater to be allowed to run. How can I get rid of the files associated with this?

Chosen solution

Firefox 40.0 was released on Tuesday this week then a 40.0.2 update on Thursday.

You appear to have Firefox 39.0

So how is Firefox prompting a update to current version a virus?
