How do I remove Yahoo? Not acceptable, I'd rather have no search engine if this is my only option, or go back to Windows' browser. lxxxxxxx@cox.net
Win 7, 3 computers for my wife, myself, my work. Yahoo is an offense, which we both want out.

If you want to change the yahoo search engine (the default) to something else, you can do the following:
- go to the firefox preferences by typing "about:preferences" in the address bar, or by clicking on the three-bar icon in the top right and clicking "preferences"
- choose the "search" tab
- under "default search engines", there is a dropdown menu to select a different search engine. Choose whatever search engine you want to use. If you don't see what you want, there is also an "add more search engines" link near the bottom.
Note that you can click the Remove button to remove a highlighted search engine in the list.
