Posted

Under Customize Firefox there are tools or features that i installed to try, then uninstalled them but the icons for them are still listed. How can I get rid of them?

Are you sure they are uninstalled, and not just disabled?

What are the add-ons?

You have the Classic Compact Options listed. Did you verify that those buttons aren't part of the Classic Compact theme?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
