Why do Youtube video's fail to play and say "Ooops :( Failed to find any playable video url. All urls are not signed."

The above message comes up when ever I attempt to play a YouTube video. Google, and YouTube say it's a browser issue. I am totally frustrated with the failure to get help with this issue.

Your System Details List shows that you have quit a few Flash plugins installed.

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can uninstall the current Flash player version and (re)install the latest Flash version.

Your issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly or is interfering otherwise.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
