Chosen solution

When you right-click and View Image, does the image appear by itself in the same tab (or if you hold Ctrl when clicking View Image, in a new tab)?

Is there any difference between the server that hosts the page and hosts the image? If so, those are sometimes called "third party" images and there is a setting to block those, and also some less sophisticated ad blocking add-ons might block those.

To check the internal setting:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box that appears above the list, type or paste perm and pause while the list is filtered

(3) If the permissions.default.image preference is bolded and "user set" to anything other than 1, right-click it and click Reset (or you can double-click it and set the value to 1). If you return to the tab that isn't showing images and reload the page, do images appear?
