I was prompt to type the MP multiple times, even if I enter the correct password. Because of its so annoying, now I turn of the MP for a while

Removing your master password

Tools -> Options -> Security / Passwords -> Uncheck "Use a master password". You will be prompted for your Master Password.

Resetting your master password

chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul

Be aware that you lose all stored passwords if you use the latter with the chrome URI.
That method is only needed if you lost the master password.

The problem aint because of the incorrect password.. even if I type the correct password I got the same annoying prompt again & again......

Are you using Firefox Sync?

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
