I rescue dogs, puppies, then I do the best I can to find the best homes and families that I can for them . I use Craigslist where the don't want you to give them away for free . You are allowed to ask for a small rehoming fee . Some of these people ask for $500 dollars or more . That's not a "small rehoming fee in my world ". I say "if" they can reimburse me for the puppy's shots I'd appreciate it , but that is all . I don't believe you have to have a lot of money to care for a dog .Well my philosophy has been getting my adds flagged and taken down almost as soon as they go up . Which means my puppies don't get adopted when they are the most adoptable . I have reviewed their rules a number of times and I don't believe I violate them .I've changed the wording of my add to closely match other ads on the site but still I get flagged by other users and taken down. I am begging to believe it's from puppy dealers/sellers trying to make a buck and my puppies are cheaper .I don't want money for them I want homes , good homes .So I need a new email so they won't flag me .I suppose I might have to change it relatively often.....is this possible ?

Thunderbird 140.7.1 i have a subfolder called "purchases" which I add to on a regular basis. Suddenly no messages appear after May 2014 I have logged in directly to the mail server, and all the missing messages are definitely on the server. I have checked the local filters, none are set. I have tried properties/repair. I have tried removing ~/.thunderbird/xxx/ImapMail/mail.myserver.com.au/INBOX.sbd/purchases.msf

Could it be a problem with dovecot indexing on the server? all the other subfolders seem to work fine. It's just this one.

Why won`t my emails come up, after 16 years of being with Mozilla thunderbird? Keeps saying server not found.

Today I created a subfolder and moved many precious e-mails there. That move was successful. Thereupon I shut down my Thunderbird and my computer. When I restarted my computer and my Thunderbird the folder which I created was empty. Please let me know how I can recover the e-mails. Thank you.

I'm reading the question Thread's broken sorting makes it completely unusable and I have to agree that order of messages within thread is not the best one - ascending. For example, I am subscribed to a forum messages and I'm getting all the notifications for a topic to a thread. Currently I have like 85 messages in a thread and to see the newest one I have to scroll all the way down each time - scrolling 85 messages is a lot and it is getting worse because the number of messages keeps growing. After I've seen the newest message, I have to scroll all the way up to close the thread. (or am I missing something - perhaps some shortcuts?)

But I guess for some such ordering is obviously fine. Hence, I guess, an option how to sort threads might come handy. Perhaps even having a default sort order and an override per thread?

PS. funnily enough, I'll have the same issue with notifications for this question :)

have 2 filters. want to run 1 on inbox and on spam on the other filter. Cannot enter different folders. When I change one of the filters in the run filter on they other filter changes the value in the run filter on to what I put in the previous filter. How can I have 2 different folders in 2 different filters

the default font for writing texts is too small for me to easily read. Yet when I send the message the text size too large, How do I control these font sizes independently

First of all, Thunderbird is a vast improvement over Outlook, so I'm persisting in setting it up. Unknown to me when I researched Thunderbird, it had an "Import from Outlook" feature. Well this trolled through all of the PST files on my computer and succeeded importing a fair amount before quitting saying that the errors were in some error-file that I can't find (Does anyone know where this error file is located?). So I have a large amount of what I need imported. Strangely, some folders have nothing initially then some time later, the emails are there! But I find the "Favourite" setup annoying. Thunderbird mirrors the setting of favourite with the target folder when you drag it to a higher level. In contrast, Outlook just creates a link to the target folder in its original location. I find Outlook's approach a lot better but still not worth the move back (Is there another way to create a Favourite in Thunderbird that does change the original folder?). Thanks for any help.

PRELUDE: I have several email accounts. All accounts display properly, except one. Yes, this is similar to my question about bottom of the far left [of emails] list of emails - but this is different.

On the far left of Thunderbird is a list of all my email accounts with "Inbox" etcetera. Each email account shows it's Inbox/Sent/Deleted/ except for 1 account. The problem email account only shows it's Title and Inbox northing else. Yes, I tested it and sent emails to it, and used the problem email account to send, create a draft, and they don't show..

Since a few days, there seems to be an italicized copy of each folder in my mailbox. I tried multiple times to delete them, but, although they seem deleted, they appear again when I start up Thunderbird. I already contacted the hosting service, but they replied that this is an issue of Thunderbird.

This happens erratically, not every time. Annoying when trying to select a message to delete and the one before or after or both also deletes at same time. Now I have to go and retrieve it back to inbox. Checked in settings and cant find a solution. Also looked in pad and mouse settings to no avail. Seems to have started in last 2 or 3 months, can't be specific of time line.

I have a small office with 5 stations to access our one email account and we'd used thunderbird for years, but the lack of integration between the stations meant we changed to Outlook and of course that's a shitshow, so I'm coming back to ask you my self (rather than the tech guy) if there's a way to set up thunderbird so that if desk 1 opens and responds to email 17, that all the desks can see both that it happened and access the responce that desk 1 sent.

We have an IMAP email account hosted locally (as in, not a gmail account, or the like).

I'd be more than happy to pay for a piece of software that I could use. I've used Thunderbird (and Eudora) for decades and I'd like to continue to support it. But moreover, I'd like an email server that doesn't limit my account size (I use email for "corporate history") and one that would allow my individual staff members to see everyone's activity in the email server.

I had most recently (like 6 months ago?) been using thunderbird. My Tech guy said it was the most current version, but I couldn't tell you what it was.

We run on Windows -- most on 11 but a couple still on 10 until I can take the time to set up the new computers.
