Cannot sign on to cisco rv325 router - enter id and password - click login - nothing happens

Used to be able to sign on to Cicso rv325 using Firefox. Updated to must recent firmware update. After that - was able to get to sign on page, enter user id, enter password, click login and nothing happens. Can login using Chrome or Explorer though I do have to tell them using this unprotected address is OK which I do not have to do in Firefox.

Unfortunately, this seems to be a known issue with that router model. It's been a problem for many years.

Some of the support topics on the Cisco website about it suggest that a factory reset will help fix the issue, others claim that simply changing the admin password will fix it.
