This started on 3/18 evening

I cannot play games plus will now lose my 7M for each daily login and the four spins I can do every four hours

Every time I try to log onto https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company I get the following message Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. I can log on from my mobile so I know the site is working

How do I stop my search results from suddenly becoming shortcuts on my home page? This is something that has started relatively recently & I did not request this or change my settings.. The only thing I want on my homepage is actual saved sites that I choose to have on my home page. I now have to spend time every session deleting the history of these unwanted shortcuts from my homepage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Just searching for how to stoip this has added this search as a shortcut to my home page- see attached pic.

Places where I've observed this behaviour:

• The 4th video in the description of https://store.steampowered.com/app/1363080/Manor_Lords/ (ignore the media carousel at the top of the page)
• This video https://dolphin-emu.org/m/user/blog/progress-report/2603/rebelstrike-texturestreaming-av1.webm that's loaded in an embed at https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2026/03/12/dolphin-progress-report-release-2603/

When these videos are in view and playing, they're decoded using the CPU and the browsers frame rate tanks (heavy/laggy scrolling when scrolling with mouse scroll wheel), I have a Geforce 3070 which includes support for AV1 decoding so I'm not sure what's happening.

AV1 videos found on Youtube like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foqVJq-XPTg are fully hardware accelerated by the GPU (Stats for nerds confirms it's playing an AV1 copy) and doesn't exhibit any performance issue.

GPU usage is monitored by Task Manager in Windows 10. For the problematic videos the GPU Decoding is at 0% with a workload being spread across many of the CPU cores. For the non-problematic 4K video the GPU Decoding is around 60-70% and no workload is distributed across multiple CPU cores.

I’m facing an issue in Firefox where some icons on my website are not updating their color correctly.

I’m using SVG icons, and the color changes work fine in other browsers, but in Firefox they seem to stay fixed.

I’ve tried clearing cache and checking CSS (fill/color), but no change so far.

Is this a known issue with how Firefox handles SVG or could I be missing something in the implementation?

When watching a video on a platform and the video needs to load, instead of pausing to load then play it once again, it doesn't stop, making the video audio sound so glitchy that you can't understand it

surprisingly, it works as expected on youtube

I posted this in the Android section a couple of days ago, but since I've had no responses I thought I should try it here in the hope it'll catch someone's eye. Hope that's acceptable.

Here's my question:

Can I fine-tune sync the way I want?

I would love to be able to sync bookmarks and passwords between two desktops yet sync just the bookmarks to a third device: an Android phone. Why? Because while I want my bookmarks available everywhere, I don't want sensitive passwords on a device that leaves home.

But I don't see a way to do that. I've tried, and I find the passwords end up being synced no matter how I configure the settings.

Nor, apparently, can I export the bookmarks and passwords to a file, strip out the passwords, and import the bookmarks alone to the phone--what I was hoping could be a workaround. I gather one can't import to mobile Firefox. Have to sync.

So I'm back where I started: unable to do what I want to do.

When I switched to vertical tabs in Firefox, the Hikcentral professional web client camera server page changed, part of the page appeared at the top, making it difficult to use and watch the camera images, and the image doesn't display properly. How can I fix this problem?

I’ve been troubleshooting a strange networking issue in Firefox that I haven’t been able to pin down, and it seems to be specific to Firefox’s network stack rather than my system or connection.

On several high-traffic sites that sit behind Cloudflare (Discord, Shopify storefronts, some SaaS dashboards), Firefox occasionally stalls during page load. The request shows up in the Network panel as pending for several seconds before finally completing. Sometimes the page partially renders and then hangs until the stalled requests finish.

A few things that make this confusing:

• The same sites load instantly in Chromium-based browsers on the same machine and network • The issue persists even in Firefox Troubleshoot Mode with extensions disabled • DNS over HTTPS on/off does not appear to change behavior • Packet captures show the TCP connection is established quickly, but some HTTP/2 streams appear to wait before data begins flowing • If I force HTTP/1.1 using a proxy for testing, the issue disappears

System details:

OS: Windows 11 Firefox: latest stable release Connection: fiber, low latency, no packet loss locally No system proxy configured

Things I’ve already tried:

• Clearing cache and site data • New Firefox profile • Disabling hardware acceleration • Testing with network.http.http2.enabled toggled • Comparing HAR logs with Chromium

One thing I noticed in the Firefox networking logs is that multiplexed streams sometimes wait behind earlier streams longer than expected, almost like there’s some internal prioritization or queue behavior happening. I’m wondering whether this could be related to HTTP/2 prioritization logic, connection coalescing, or how Firefox handles Cloudflare edge endpoints.

Has anyone seen similar behavior or knows whether there are any advanced networking prefs in about:config worth experimenting with (connection limits, HTTP/2 concurrency, etc.)?

Curious if this might be a known quirk with certain CDNs or just something unique to my environment.

This just happened, (45 minutes). When I attempt to access a page or a file, when the page comes up on screen, it is a page of numbers and symbols. How do I remove these pages??

Lost my Passwords on my desktop and can't recover them through profile manager, I found them on my android phone and want to recover my passwords from there, but am worried if I try and sync to the desktop, the desktop might overwrite the passwords in the phone.

Ok, This is a bit of a question that seems to have many answers but none that have ever worked for me. I have in the past 12 months probably formatted my PC 4 times, and I have at least 12 profiles on Firefox nightly, not to mention the rest of the family. It's not really a problem to redo them every time, but it is just a painstaking simple process. If I could just backup the profile folder, copy it move it change it whatever, it would be nice and simple, even to transfer from one pc to another in the house, but every time I try, It fails. Copy the Userdata folder, copy the entire firefox folder, blah blah blah, never can I do it. I believe it has something to do with security that you can't just copy and the entire profile folder, but some way to backup the profiles exists surely? One that actually works. Cheers All!

I can no longer access YouTube videos (video unavailable) with Windows 10 and Firefox. However, I can access them with Google Chrome. How can I resolve this issue?

If it ain't broke, don't fi(o)x it. Never try to be too clever. I cannot log out of OUTLOOK.COM, then after goodness knows hot long, it says that I have been kicked out and need to login again. CRAP!!!!!!!

Since changing to a new internet service provider, I can no longer print form Firefox. My internet router uses the same username as password as my previous router.

where did the extra =" come from? when I tried other browsers still problems but inspect element was different hopefully this isn't a Windows 10 problem, but very wierd if it is

Good Morning! I've just come back to FF after using another browser for quite a few years. Things have changed alot here, but I'm loving it all so far! With that being said, have been trying to get a few extensions set up. Main one being Open Link with New Tab. (WHY doesn't FF do that automatically? lol.) Anyway, obviously I'm doing something wrong because it just stays grayed out. I've uninstalled/reinstalled quite a few times. I know it's something so basically simple and I'm overlooking it. HELP! Not sure if "browse" is the correct topic but here we go:

After a random crash (I don't remember the details, been a while) I've "refreshed" Firefox. Following that I started to have some problems with Google Meet. Haven't had any for years and suddenly when i open Google Meet (working from home and using Google Meet as an online meeting platform daily), everything becomes unresponsive. I can't change tab, cannot close Firefox from the close button, nothing. I open the Windows Task Manager and End Task manually to close the window so I can restart the browser. After restarting Firefox and launch Google Meet, it doesn't crash.

The other problem is when I try to watch something on Netflix, I hear the sound, see the subtitles but the video content is not present. It's just black screen with UI on it. Yes, I checked the DRM setting and no, other streaming services that I use don't have this problem. I can bypass this by launching Firefox in troubleshoot mode but I want to use my extensions. I even tried to enable them one-by-one to see if anyone causing problems but even when I disable all of my extensions like in the troubleshoot mode I'm still having the same problem.

I tried several solutions that I found on reddit etc. but nothing worked so far. I also re-installed Firefox and nothing changed.

Please help me before I lose my mind (:
