It's possible that you are on more than one mailing list. For example, the newsletter takes direct subscriptions rather than going through a Firefox Account.

Can you use a link in the message to update your email preferences and see whether that leads to a different place?

If there is a problem with sending mail to the new address then the mail might be send to the old email address. In some cases email might be send to both email addresses.
