I go on two banking sites, I put in my username and then the site puts me to where I would put in my Password. The circle starts spinning and never stops. After a long time i X out. I can not start up Firefox again until I reboot. After rebooting i start Firefox and it comes up sorry .

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that aren't send or otherwise blocked.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
