Typing about:config in the address bar does not bring up a list of configuration files. All it does is produce a google search list of YouTube and Mozilla help sites. How can I access Firefox configuration files so I can stop websites from refreshing?

Firefox for iOS (for (iPhone/iPad) is basically a shell for Safari as Apple limits what browser engine can be used on iOS/iPadOS.

The about:config is only available on desktop Firefox on Windows, Linux macOS and on Beta/Nightly channels of Firefox for Android.

Also there are no Firefox extensions for Firefox on iOS https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-firefox-ios

Can you tell us more about your problem with websites auto refreshing? Does it happen very frequently or only on certain sites?

Hi—I see this question is older, but the refresh thing is only on certain sites (or is much worse on certain sites) Easiest example I can think of is cnn.com. It is almost unusable because the page refreshes multiple times and starts you at the top of the article each time. Jalopnik is awful, it happens on several sites, but not all.

I’m annoyed with Apple to learn that Moz is just a shell for Safari? Why does it appear to work so much better for Safari? Can I turn the autorefresh off in Safari, and that will fix it in Moz? Thank you!
