webide pops up everytime i use the shift key
i am unable to use alot of my keyboard and type certain words while on facebook with firefox bc the shift opens the webide everytime i hit shift to capitlize something or use a symbol for example. this does not happen with chrome -

You may have a stuck F8 key, so you can try to press the F8 key a few times to see if that helps. See: Web Developer > WebIDE (Shift+F8)
my F8 key is not stuck - i pulled out the key and am still having the same issue. I have also googled this and alot of people are having the same issue - pretty sure all our f8 keys are not stuck. How can i disable webide?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
