F key activates yellow boxes, how do I shut this off?

Whenever I press the "f" key it activates these yellow boxes on the screen that consist of two letters. If I press the "f" key a couple times it will go away but it continues to happen. I have a screenshot but I cannot attach it here. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

You can attach images to replies only (bug 718813). If you need to include screenshots in the first post (the question), you have to upload it to a host like http://imgur.com and post the link.

The issue is likely caused by one of your add-ons. Restart Firefox with Add-ons Disabled to check if that's the case.

If the problem goes away in Safe Mode, you can either try to determine which add-on is to blame, or you can Reset Firefox and get rid of them all.
