Youtube Audio slightly crackles / pops anytime it's set to 2x speed
Whenever I hold down the mouse button or space bar to speed up a video by 2x, it seems to let out a small crackle / pop, it wouldn't be as annoying if it only happened one time but it happens practically anytime I do it, sometimes it's when I first press it down, and sometimes it's when I let go.
I've been using Firefox for years and never had this issue until like 3-4 days ago I'd say, and it's a small thing but it adds up constantly and makes the experience fairly annoying, I tested the audio on google chrome extensively and it doesn't seem to happen there so I have to assume it's a Firefox issue.
Would love to see if there's a way to fix this.

After doing further research it seems it isn't Firefox exclusive, but it happens a lot less on chrome and it's a lot less apparent when it happens, and it's not an issue with my headphones as I've tested it with another pair and the crackling still remained, maybe it's not a question meant for this forum anymore, it's just fairly frustrating to not be able to fully enjoy the videos the way I used to before.
