Method 1: Using Firefox Sync

Set Up Firefox Sync on the Old Laptop:
Open Firefox on your old laptop.
Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the upper right corner.
       Select "Sign in to Sync."
If you don’t have a Firefox account, you can create one. If you already have an account, sign in.
Choose what you want to sync (bookmarks, history, passwords, etc.) and ensure everything you want is checked.
Set Up Firefox Sync on the New Laptop:
Install Firefox on your new laptop if it’s not already installed.
Open Firefox and click on the menu button.
       Select "Sign in to Sync."
Sign in with the same Firefox account you used on the old laptop.
Your data will start syncing automatically.

Method 2: Manually Transferring Firefox Profile Data

If you prefer to manually transfer your Firefox data, follow these steps:

Locate Your Firefox Profile on the Old Laptop:
Open Firefox and type about:profiles in the address bar, then press Enter.
You will see a list of profiles. Click on the "Open Folder" button next to the profile you want to transfer. This will open the profile folder in your file explorer.
   Copy the Profile Data:
Close Firefox to ensure all data is saved.
Copy the entire profile folder (it will have a name like xxxxxxxx.default where xxxxxxxx is a random string) to an external drive or cloud storage.
   Transfer to the New Laptop:
On your new laptop, install Firefox if it’s not already installed.
Open Firefox and type about:profiles in the address bar, then press Enter.
Click on "Create a New Profile" and follow the prompts to create a new profile.
Once created, click on "Open Folder" for the new profile.
       Close Firefox again.
Copy the contents of the old profile folder (from the external drive or cloud storage) into the new profile folder on the new laptop, replacing any existing files.
Start Firefox on the New Laptop:
Open Firefox on your new laptop. Your bookmarks, history, passwords, and other data should now be available.

Notes:

If you have any extensions or themes, you may need to reinstall them on the new laptop.
If you have large amounts of data, using Firefox Sync is generally easier and more efficient
