Hi! I reached out on Friday and was sent a code that expired in 5 minutes, missed the deadline and had to leave the library. I updated Firefox to 155 and can't find my bookmarks. Also found that a Microsoft update included Goggle Chrome that I uninstalled. Please advise on getting my bookmarks back thank you. I only have 30 minutes left on line. Help! My bookmarks tool bar is missing & I cant recover it because your instructions for locating the menu bar don't match what your instructions display. There is NO AltGr displays a bookmark menu BUT I CANT MOVE IT TO MY TOOL BAR. There is NO selected tab, NO menu bar; NO bookmark tool displayed. I have also lost all of my downloads. This has happened in the last month; everything was fine. I am 82 years old & NOT a techie so expect better help than I have received so far during the last frustrating 2 hours of trying to follow Firefox instructions that DO NOT APPLY TO ME. Also the "add images" function @ bottom of this page won't let me send you a copy of the instructions you display to select the bookmark menu bar ... I click on the picture of the problem & nothing happens ... just dead no access to select pictures either.

I have NOT changed my internet provider; I have not changed any settings. This all happened two weeks ago. Called internet provider & they said it was Firefox issue!!! Very unhappy.

Why cant I access "ask a question" anymore as no link appears. How do I contact someone as the community has locked the thread concerning lost bookmarks. I need those bookmarks back!

I started a new conversation because all of my bookmarks have disappeared. I have five years of important bookmarks which I assumed would be kept in bookmarks. Now only the one bookmark I made today is available. Also Alt and AltGr does not link to anything. This happened in the last month. Also the "add images" link on this link is not functional anymore; I cannot select a picture either. I have Windows 10 and my system lacks the capability to upgrade to Windows 11 even if want to. Firefox says it will continue to support Windows 10 but something must have changed in the last several weeks. dona bretherick

I usually have checked the option for clearing cookies and site data every time I close Firefox. However there is an exception list where I add sites I visit often and I prefer to keep its browsing data. This list of exceptions seems to be ignored. The sites I have in the list lose all their browsing data.

The only solution I have found so far is not check the option to clear browsing data.

I remember this function stopped working correctly right after I decided to wipe all browsing data manually.

In the Settings, the "HTTPS-Only" feature seems broken. There is an option to 'Don't enable" this feature, but that doesn't make any difference. I can get to an "http:" site using any other browser, but not with the latest Firefox.

My Desktop - Win10, 260+ Gigs RAM/14+ TB HD space Firefox updated a couple of days ago, and again today (this time to 155.0.1) Ever since . . . . . . Having Major problems NOW No Rt-Clk function in Ff Ff menu buttons non-functional Ff tabs can no longer be rearranged Data entry fields, dropdowns, Submit buttons, & "add to cart" buttons not working on Ff pages -Things I've tried; I rebooted Ff & Windows several times each - No Joy I cleared Ff startup cache twice - No Joy HELP! I use Ffox for roughly 85% of my online activities - I'm pretty much hosed

On Thursday 3rd September 2026 Firefox stopped working. I tried lots of things to get it to work to no avail. Today, 8th September 2026, I had already deleted the Firefox that was already on my PC so I downloaded a fresh copy from the Firefox website and installed it. It ran perfectly for about 30 minutes then I shut it down. 5 Minutes later, a Firefox crash report appeared which I duly sent of. Checking Event Manager a string of error messages saying the same thing, Its the XUL.DLL file that keep crashing! This was the same file that caused the failure last week. I had made sure that XUL.DLL was not on the pc when I downloaded Firefox today. When I click on the Firefox icon it open but stays on a black lower half of the screen and boxes at the top, white lined but black and transparent lines moving left to right across them, eventually it fails and closes, after a few minutes it send the crash report. Its a shame because I have used Firefox for many, many years and now having to use Edge!!!!

I've searched & waited past few years for an Extension to make the TOOLBAR FONTS larger, none found. Reason being many of us are using larger monitors and TV's and we're usually sitting or standing further away from the screen. Problem is the font size cannot be changed, they stay small and hard to read comfortably. __YES I've reset my operating systems font size, that does not work in Firefox TOOLBARS. __Changing the "firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer" has been eliminated by Firefox. __Changing the "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" to a larger number increases the whole TOOLBAR. I just want the FONT size larger. __(someone suggested) NO, I'm not going to setup 2 monitors.

When I save the bookmarks to the toolbar they work fine but when I close and reopen firefox they bookmarks don't work. They are there but inactive and do not work. How do I save bookmarks so they open everytime I open firefox?

I appreciate all the work put into developing 155, and I can't keep up. I'd like to get my book marks back. How can I return to an earlier version, unless you know a way I can get them in 155, Thank you! BTW I'm using Windows 10.

latest update seems to have broken firefox 155.0.1. It opens but then becomes unresponsive. Two different PC, both win 10. How can I revert to previous?

I can not get extra info from troubleshooting page cause FF won't open so as to be used.

when i click on the bottom of the tool bar, i get all the windows open, all i want to see in the firefox symbol, but behind it, it got all the widows open, how do i turn this feature off... i just want to see the firefox icon their instead,,,

Since 09sep2026, the "Currently" news area layout no longer displays text next to each photo. Instead there are vertical boxes with photos, then a short column with a few games, etc. boxes, then the right half of the page is blank. I have AT&T fiber internet service, which pushes "Currently". I have not changed any settings. I am still on Win 10, with an HP display. I have done all available updates to Win 10. Thank you for your assistance!
