Text on my screen frequently ends up rendering completely incorrect, and I believe it has gotten worse over time.

I thought it was an issue with my pc, but chrome does not have this issue and neither do other applications. I have tried clearing my cache and cookies as well as ensuring mozilla was using my computer performance settings as opposed to hardware acceleration. The attached images are a very small example of the issue. Typically, after clicking on the screen or pressing a button the text is corrected but often replaced with new text being "corrupted". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is really strange that some of the letters are shifted up/down but the same letters are normal in other words. So it doesn't sound like a corrupted font (since i should be i everywhere). That said, does it seem to occur with every font, or only particular fonts?

To drill down and find out what font Firefox is using for a particular word, you can right-click > Inspect the text to call up the Page Inspector. On the right-most panel of the Inspector, you can change from whatever is displayed (such as Layout) to Fonts. You may need to click a tiny triangle at right edge of the panel headings to find Fonts.

Hilfreich?

Sorry for the lack of response, it seems like the issue happens with various fonts. I have noticed the issue with fonts does not seem to extend to applications such as Google docs if that is relevant in any manner. I used the inter font in Google Docs and it displayed just fine.

Hilfreich?
