Browser opens, but no pages load and the button to log into my account does not work
I could not find the same problem, or any solution, when I searched the knowledge base. i have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox twice. The problem started after a Firefox update on 2-12-22

Could this be relevant? A couple of other users identified Webroot (security software) as blocking 64-bit Firefox 97 -- released today -- from running properly: If you are still running an earlier release of Firefox, this would not be your issue.

After consulting with WebRoot, they advised this was a known issue. The fix was to remove and reinstalled the WebRoot application.
I am running Windows 11 and do use Webroot. Firefox will not run in safe/troubleshoot mode.. nothing happens when I chose that option. Firefox version is 97.0 64 bi

When I couldn't use troubleshoot mode I decided my only acceptable option was to create a new profile. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
