My thunderbird keeps asking for passwords but in a nonsensical way: "Enter your password for kirkpat@charter.net@mobile.charter.net." That doesn't make sense!
I called Charter.com and they've never heard of this problem and assume it's tied in with Thunderbird. I tried powering off and starting back up but that doesn't fix the problem.
HELP!

What is the user ID and server name in your account settings? When did this start? Did you make any changes recently? Did this ever work, or is it a new account?
This just started yesterday. I made no recent changes. This is an old account that's worked fine for several years. When I saw the nonsensical usage of two @'s in one word it made me think it was a virus or malware....
Can you answer ALL questions above please? I doubt this is related to malware.
