The built in spelling checker works fine, but may need some attention to some details first. I use it and I also use an extension that checks spelling and Grammar. Spelling Check: SpellCheck: :Firefox has a built-in spelling checker see *http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/firefox/tab_capacity/001_with_underscore.htm#spellcheck *http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/firefox/tab_capacity/001_with_underscore.htm#spellcheck_jumpstart Once set up, you will see wavy lines under misspelled words. Right-click on the identified word to replace with corrected spelling or to add to the dictionary. After fixing your spell checker and waiting a couple days so you are sure it is working properly with nice red wavy lines under misspelled words, I would install the extension that checks your spelling and grammar. Hi, sorry it's been a little while, the spellings checked with a tick, I un-ticked it, clicked FF, reopened it, re ticked it, clicked, restart, still no lines. Add-on doesn't seem to have done anything, either :(.
