I am trying to delete some bookmarks Equine Now that I made when shopping for a horse. All I get is "This ad has been deleted"and the bookmark will not delete from my unsorted list of bookmarks.

Did you try to remove all copies by opening the bookmark is a tab and clicking the yellow star on the location bar?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Did you try the solutions in the above mentioned KB articles and delete all places.* files in the Firefox Profile Folder?
