How do I remove the amazon icon from my home screen?

I tried several times to dismiss the amazon icon from my home screen but it won't dismiss. When I click on it, it tries to behave like a browser to search amazon and my password is not working now.

Settings > Search

then remove those you don't want then remove from 'home' screen
