Hello,
I would like to complete overhaul my pc again and for this matter Im quite dependant on my firefox saves of cookies / bookmarks etc.
the only issue is, the password i created using my account years ago is something i have absolutely no idea of anymore, ive been on the same computer for ages so luckily i never needed it again to sign into firefox, so you can probably see my issue here.
Is there any way that i can provide enough evidence that this is my account that i can finally reset this password and be able to reset my pc?

No, only the original password or a recovery key is able to decrypt the data stored on the Mozilla Sync Account server.
You can backup your personal data if you still have access to that profile folder.
