Forgot Sync password
Sorry for bothering, but I was wondering if resetting the password with the security code also deleted the saved passwords in the device. The wording in the information section was too obtuse for me to know if they would be removed or not.

What security code are you talking about ? If you have used a 32-character recovery key then you should still have your data on the Sync server.
Note that Sync isn't meant to be used as a backup and if you have only one device connected then usefulness of Sync is limited as Sync is meant to merge data between connected devices.

Yeah I have a recovery key but I don't want to lose all the passwords stored in my PC just to enter my Sync account. Is there any way to backup those?
The recovery key is meant to be used instead of entering a new password and you won't lose data stored on the Sync server if you use the recovery key.
Note that you can backup your personal data to be prepared for future issues.

How long can the data live on servers only? I mean, i saw the exact words on the sync-setup page, and i live by them... but i also saw comments, when some users, used it as a backup, and after a PC reinstall, or -change they logged in (without having an other device logged into the accountm for a period of time), and they got their data back as it was before...
