when I type something in the address bar, i do not want firefox to search the internet for it - only my history...

I do not want firefox to search the internet everytime I enter something in the address bar. For example, when i starting typing gm - the address for my gmail account should come up first, but firefox instead searches lists search the internet first.

Everytime they update firefox it gets worse...

You can set keyword.disabled = false on the about:config page.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
