Until yesterday I could use 'Control P' & print an email I was preparing to send. Yesterday afternoon that function stopped working. How can I get it back?
At times I like to print an email on Thunderbird before sending it, to check it for punctuation, etc.. In past 'Control P' has always worked to bring up the print box so I could print it. Yesterday that option stopped working! How can I get it back?

That's a long way around Robin Hood's barn, and prints all the header stuff, but it works. Took me a bit to figure out to just highlight it in the draft's folder and then do 'Control P' but I finally did it...
Many thanks Wayne, that is a huge relief!
BTW what the heck is TB45?

tried rebooting your computer?
Yes, I did try that, and was quite sure it would solve the issue, but it hasn't! Now what?
@ MATT, I got the same result (IN WRITE) so I tried print from drop-down didn't work. From preview it works Customized and added print-icon: print didn't work, preview did. From main-window: no problem.

Hi Matt, Thanks, but when I am writing an email in Thunderbird I don't have that option! All I have is Send, Spell Check, Attach, Security, & Save... When in 'Inbox' I have File, Edit, View, etc., but that does not do me any good when I'm in the process of writing an email and want to print it for editing, which I sometimes do. Any other thoughts?
To give you a bit more info, I had AVG Security added for another 2 years, as it was about to expire, and asked them to help me apply it. They did, but it was at that point I lost the ability to use the 'Control C' shortcut which I had used just before extending my security service! AVG swears it was not them that caused this loss, but I think differently. Anyway, they couldn't help, although they tried! I am also still running XP, (I know, my bad). I'm not at all tech savvy, and have no one here to help me make sure I don't loose any of my files in the switch-over, or even how to go about it, to be honest.

OMG Wayne. All that is way beyond me! Looks like the computer version of 'Kitten on the Keys' to me! LOL
It may be that I have just come to the end of the line with this desktop, and XP.

All it says is there is a bug, it is fixed, but not in TB45 yet.
Workaround is save to drafts and print from there

Thank you Matt. This 'shortcut' lingo is more complicated than Pittman shorthand! Now I am giving away my age!
