i see many others have the same problem withe downloading photos from internet (firefox) and they never show up in the gallery...but i see no replies from firef

I like to save photos from facebook and various places that allow downloads. When I try this with Firefox, I am told and shown by flashing arrow that download is happening, then asked to view in gallery....but when I go back to gallery, it was not saved there!?!?! I told it to save....so where is it saved?...please help (:-(

Files don't get saved to the gallery. They are saved to the download folder. You may need a file explorer app or attach your phone to a computer to see the folders.

I checked my tablet's download folder and firefox's saved downloads and did not find my photos in either location.....?
